OLIM makes long-term investments in quoted equities which it believes to be undervalued, to give clients steady income, capital growth and peace of mind.

OLIM is a specialist investment management company founded in 1986. OLIM is solely focused on fund management with no conflicting business interests. The investment team, consisting of Angela Lascelles, Andrew Impey and Patrick Harrington, manages UK equities and balanced portfolios. Stuart Mant heads up the Business Development and Marketing of OLIM, whilst Sarah Chadwick manages the OLIM office and works with Lynne Leath, our client account administrator, to ensure all clients receive the same, high quality, level of service.

OLIM was acquired by Albion Capital Group LLP in November 2016.

Meet the Team

Angela Lascelles

Investment Manager

Angela Lascelles co-founded OLIM in 1986. She has been professionally engaged in investment since graduating in philosophy from London University. She has worked for both the Associated British Foods and Courtaulds Pension Funds. At the latter she managed the UK and Overseas bond portfolios and a major part of the UK equity portfolio. Since the formation of OLIM she has focused on managing equity portfolios. She is also responsible for our bond holdings.

Andrew Impey

Investment Manager

Andrew is a director of OLIM Investment Managers and a partner at Albion Capital. He is responsible for managing both equity and balanced portfolios at OLIM. He has over 30 years’ experience as a fund manager and has managed a broad range of funds. Prior to Joining OLIM in 2009, Andrew was Chief Investment Officer at Singer & Friedlander Investment Management and also managed charity portfolios and private unit trusts. Earlier in his career Andrew was a director at Dresdner RCM Global Investors and River & Mercantile Investment Management specialising in UK small and mid-cap equities.

Patrick Harrington

Investment Manager

Patrick joined the OLIM team in 2018 as a director and investment manager from stockbroker Baden Hill where he was Managing Partner. A highly experienced fund manager with over 25 years in the industry, Patrick has also worked for Jupiter Asset Management, Henderson Global Investors and M&G. Patrick is re-joining the team after working for OLIM from 2005-2009 and will be responsible for managing both equity and balanced portfolios.

Patrick Reeve

Chairman

Patrick Reeve is the Chairman of OLIM Investment Managers and Managing Partner of Albion Capital. Patrick is also a member of the Audit Committee of University College London, a director of The Association of Investment Companies, and is on the Council of the BVCA. Patrick joined Close Brothers Group plc in 1989, working in both the development capital and corporate finance divisions before establishing Albion Capital (formerly Albion Ventures LLP) in 1996. Prior to Close he qualified as a chartered accountant then joined Cazenove & Co where he spent three years in the corporate finance department. Patrick has an MA in Modern Languages from Oxford University.

India Cornett

Business Development Executive

India joined Albion in 2017 as a Business Development Associate in order to support Wealth Managers, Private Banks, and assist the Head of Business Development in fundraising activities. Prior to working at Albion, India worked as a Parliamentary Assistant. Having carried out her degree in History of Art at the University Lyon 2, India graduated in 2016 from the Institut d’études superiéures des arts, Paris, with a Masters 2 in Art and Business.

Linda Roberson

Head of Compliance

Linda initially qualified as a solicitor with Allen & Overy, working in their London Corporate Finance team, before joining the in-house legal team at 3i Group plc in 1999. At 3i, Linda supported investment transactions and fund raisings, later moving to the Compliance team to focus on regulatory matters. Linda joined Albion in 2016. She holds an LLB in Law and French Law from Birmingham University

Lynne Leath

Accounts Administrator

Since joining OLIM in 2003, Lynne is responsible for managing the administration of all client portfolios, office administration and trade reporting.

Prior to OLIM, Lynne worked in the publishing sector.

Robert Whitby-Smith

Director

Robert Whitby-Smith, BA (Hons), FCA, MCSI is a Director of OLIM Investment Managers and a Partner at Albion Capital. Robert joined Albion Capital in 2005 and became a partner in 2009. Previously he worked in corporate finance at ING Barings, Credit Suisse First Boston and KPMG. Robert is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Sarah Chadwick

Company Secretary

Sarah is responsible for managing the office and also works alongside Lynne in account administration as well as providing administrative support to the Investment Managers.

Sarah previously worked at CVC Capital Partners and Chicago Mercantile Exchange before joining OLIM in 2017.

Stuart Mant

Head of Business Development

Stuart became Head of Business Development for OLIM in 2016 and is responsible for marketing the OLIM funds across the UK. He has over 20 years’ experience in the investment industry and has previously held senior sales roles with a number of leading fund management houses in both the equity and fixed income markets as well as the tax efficient space. Stuart is also Head of Business Development for OLIMs parent company, Albion Capital.

Victoria Scott

Head of Marketing

After graduating in Biochemistry at Imperial College, University of London, Victoria moved into sales and marketing within the National Newspaper Industry where she spent 10 years. Victoria moved into international magazine and product development on and offline as Commercial Director and then Board Director of a number of companies. Victoria joined the Albion Capital team in 2012 and now also manages marketing and communications for OLIM Investment Managers

Vikash Hansrani

Director

Vikash Hansrani, BA (Hons), ACA, is a Director of OLIM Investment Managers and the Operations Partner of Albion Capital. He joined Albion in 2010 having qualified as a chartered accountant with RSM Tenon plc working latterly in its corporate finance team. He has a BA in Accountancy & Finance from Nottingham Business School.
